| We are pursuing a novel approach to atmosphere-ocean modeling
in which a single dynamical core is used to model both fluids.
The model is developed in an 'r' coordinate - see below - which
becomes a (scaled) pressure coordinate in the atmosphere and a
(scaled) height coordinate in the ocean.
