CMI researchers are active users of large scale parallel computing. Locally we operate a cluster facility with a Myrinet interconnect. This system currently contains thirty-two Pentium 4 nodes and twenty-four Pentium III nodes. The facility supports a wide range of research calculations. 

In an alliance with other engineering and computational science groups at MIT we are planning to grow the facility as part of the ACES project.
