Activities

Although MIT undergraduates have a well-deserved reputation for working very hard, the department tries to encourage social interactions, by hosting pizza parties, ice cream study breaks, and an occasional field trip or camping trip. 

Our Weather and Climate Club  encourages extra-curriculum activities, such as weather forecasting competition, field trips and talks - see WCC

We have also provided our majors and minors with a Common Room in the department, accessible only to undergraduates in EAPS, where they can study, read, talk, or just relax.
