at the Waterville Valley Resort and Conference Center, New Hampshire.

Guests arrived on Friday afternoon, to check in.  The program continued until after lunch Sunday afternoon. 

This year's theme was
"From Tools to Knowledge:  Research Methods in Atmospheres, Oceans and Climate."

PAOC Retreat 2006

The 2006 PAOC Retreat was held on the weekend of September
15 -17, 2006 at the Grand Summit Resort at the base of Mt. Snow
in Vermont.


Many thanks go to this year's Retreat Student Committee:
Claude Abiven, Evgeny Logvinov, Brian Rose, Tatiana Rykova,
Ariane Verdy, Christie Wood.


The Retreat was generously subsidized by the Houghton Fund and was therefore free of charge to all faculty, post-docs and graduate students of PAOC. Guests were welcome, although there was a fee for any guest over the age of 12.

The PAOC Retreat Committee's 2006 theme was  "Milestones in My Journey through Atmosphere, Ocean and Climate Sciences."
